Across programming, database support, consulting, training, infrastructure, and documentation, the recurring work has been remarkably consistent: enter a complicated situation, ask the questions that reveal the real workflow, and construct a practical path from confusion to competence.
In healthcare systems, that meant learning billing work alongside the users, translating leadership ideas into changes that fit the application, supporting legacy database transitions, adapting data for downstream systems, and training people through operational change.
In technical projects today, it means clarifying incomplete requests, implementing carefully, recording what failed and why, and leaving behind documentation that allows the next person to proceed without reconstructing the entire history.
Programming is one of my implementation tools. Documentation is one of my transfer tools. Systems analysis is the connective tissue.
